Children and Young People's Advocate (CIDVA)

Islington

The Children and Young People's Advocate provides advocacy and support for children and young people living or attending school in Islington who are or have been in an abusive intimate relationship, through risk assessment, safety planning and support. 


Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

  • male and female Islington residents/school pupils who have survived domestic abuse or sexual violence
    • aged <18 
    • or <25 for young people with a range of specific needs

Exclusions

  • perpetrators of domestic abuse or sexual violence

How to refer

GPs can make referrals or suggest self-referral
