NCL ICB has been made aware of recent direct contact by digital weight management provider Oviva to general practices, offering access to Tier 3 weight management services under Right to Choose. Oviva is the provider for the NCL Type 2 Diabetes Remission Service (formerly Low Cal Diet), but the ICB has not commissioned Oviva to provide Tier 3 services.
 
NCL ICB have been in touch with NHS England to gain clarification on commissioning and financial questions that arise from this to ensure that any information being shared is accurate.
