Borderline substances: Share your views on safety

NCL Wide

The Advisory Committee on Borderline Substances (ACBS) and the NHS England Patient Safety Team are launching a survey to explore safety issues with borderline substances to inform collaborative working with the Department of Health and Social Care. Can you help?

The survey aims to better understand the safety issues related to prescribing, ordering, dispensing administration and labelling of nutrition borderline substances. These safety issues could include look-alike, sound-alike errors, also known as LASA errors.

The views sought from healthcare practitioners working in both primary and secondary care, will give a better understanding of the safety issues encountered in practice and help to better inform a review of national guidance and practice.

The survey will involve submitting information during a one-week period between Monday 30 September and Monday 21 October 2024. The survey will remain open until Friday 25 October 2024.
