Become an Approved Educator in NCL

NCL Wide

Clinicians of all roles who wish to support learners as an educational supervisor are required to complete the NCL Educator Approval process. This process has two parts:

  • part one involves registering for and completing the appropriate supervisor course
  • part two includes submitting an educator application and undergoing NCL TH assessment following completion of the course

For general practitioners roles, registration is open for the upcoming London GP Supervisor course cohorts, scheduled to take place between February and June 2025.

For other clinical roles, registration is open for the next London Multi-Professional Supervisor course cohort which will run between January and April 2025. This course is designed for any role in general practice who is not a GP but supports the educational supervision of other clinicians in their practice.

Healthcare professionals of all roles can register for either course via the webform on the NCL Training Hub website. Participants must meet entry requirements for admission on to the course. Additional information, requirements and upcoming cohort dates are available on NCL Training Hub website.
