The UCLH Urology department has become aware that the approximate wait time for an appointment displayed on the My Planned Care website includes data relating to cancer and urgent referrals. This is therefore giving patients an inaccurate representation of the approximate wait for a routine appointment and generating queries from patients.

The UCLH Directory of Service (DoS) for each speciality has been updated to include these approximate wait times and other important information relating to your referral to each speciality, including inclusion and exclusion criteria and service-specific information. 

Action for refers

Please make your patient aware before referring of the approximate wait for a routine appointment for the services available to refer to via the e-Referral Service:

• General Andrology 6-9 months  
• Erectile Dysfunction 6-9 months  
• Male LUTS 9-12 months   
• Female LUTs 9-12 months 
• Reconstruction 3-4 months  
• Stones 6-9 months 
• Adolescent 6-9 months
• Focal 4-6 weeks (for non-urgent suspected cancer patients).
