The London Breast Screening Programme administration hub is transitioning from sending breast screening GP reports by post to delivering them electronically. Results will be sent as a PDF attachment to each practice’s nominated nhs.net email address. The content and layout of the GP reports will remain unchanged.

The benefits of this change will be faster and secure delivery of results. If a results is not accessed within 72hrs, a paper copy will be sent by post.

Action required

To opt in for this change, practices should complete and return the following information to rf-tr.hubgppacks@nhs.net.  

• GP practice code and practice name
• preferred NHS.net email to receive the reports.
