UCLH and British Medical Journal training package on eight types of cancer

Cancers covered include breast, head and neck, lung, skin and soft tissue, abdominal and pelvic (upper GI, colorectal and gynaecological), urological and prostate and rare cancers.

The package contains current and evidence-based clinical content aligned to clinical guidance. It’s convenient (you can work at your own pace, wherever you have an internet connection), CPD-approved and free of charge.

RCGP module on colorectal cancer

A 30-minute session with information on the presentation of colorectal cancer, particularly looking at the reasons behind late presentation and the implications of this. Explores diagnostic and screening investigations and discusses next steps following referral to the cancer pathway. Course was developed in partnership with UCLH Cancer Collaborative.

Coding and safety netting in the context of cancer

This e-learning module, developed in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, is suitable for GPs, GP trainees and other primary-care clinical staff. The course comprises video introductions, a section summarising the theory of coding and safety netting and five interactive case studies.
